1. Who we are

EntrepO is tire-storage management software operated by Les Entreprises Daigle et Thibault ("EntrepO", "we"). This policy applies to the web app (app.entrep-o.com) and the EntrepO mobile app (iOS and Android).

2. How EntrepO works

EntrepO is a business tool (garages, tire retailers). Each business customer (a "tenant") creates an account for its team and enters its own customers' information to track tire storage. EntrepO acts as a service provider for these businesses: we host and protect the data, but the business customer decides what information about its own customers gets entered.

3. Information we collect

Team member accounts (app users):

• Email and username, used for authentication (via Firebase Authentication).
• Role and access permissions within the business account.

Information about the business customer's own clients (entered by their team, not by us):

• Name, address, city, postal code, phone number.
• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), vehicle description.
• Storage details: tire specifications, dates, notes on the record.

Mobile app technical data:

• Camera: used to scan a VIN or a code on a tire. The photo is processed directly on the device (offline text recognition) and is never uploaded to or stored on our servers — only the recognized text (e.g. the VIN) is used.
• Biometric authentication (Face ID/fingerprint): used only to unlock the app on your device. No biometric data is ever transmitted to or stored by EntrepO — verification happens entirely through your device's own operating system.
• Device pairing and notifications: if you pair your phone to a desktop session to scan a VIN remotely, we store a locally-generated device identifier and a push notification token (provided by the Expo push service) so we can send you a notification related to that feature. A scanned VIN passes briefly through our servers to relay it to the desktop, and is not retained beyond that session.

We do not collect location (GPS) data and do not use any advertising or third-party tracking tools.

4. How we use this information

• To provide and operate the service (authentication, storage management, search).
• To keep accounts secure and prevent unauthorized access.
• To communicate with you about your account or the service when needed.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

5. Sharing of information

We share information only with the providers necessary to run the service:

• Google Firebase — account authentication.
• Expo — relaying push notifications to the mobile app.
• Google Cloud — infrastructure and database hosting.

These providers process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.

6. Data retention

Data is retained for as long as the business customer's account is active. A business customer may request deletion of its data at any time by contacting us (see section 9).

7. Security

Communication between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to data is limited to authorized members of each business account, based on their permissions.

8. Your rights

Under Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. If you're a customer of a business using EntrepO, please contact that business first; we can also assist you directly.

9. Account deletion

To request deletion of a user account or its associated data, email us below with the account or business name in question. We'll process the request within a reasonable time and confirm once it's complete.

10. Children's privacy

EntrepO is a professional tool for businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest update.
